The series, which will involve 3 Tests, 5 ODIs and two T20s, is part of the MOU signed between the two boards in 2014 and Shaharyar is keen to abide by it.
Shaharyar told reporters that this is the re-beginning of the revival of Indo-Pak cricket, and the preparation is on in full swing.
Shaharyar also said that an India-Pakistan contest is bigger than the Ashes.
