Angelo Mathews Wants to Give Kumar Sangakkara Fitting Farewell

Sri Lanka cricket captain Angelo Mathews yesterday said the islanders are determined to give a fitting send off to the retiring Kumar Sangakkara by winning the upcoming Test series against India.

Mathews said that a series win is the best way to send off a player of Sangakkara's caliber.

Sangakkara has announced his retirement from international cricket after the second match of the three-Test series against India starting August 12th.

Sangakkara's last match will be from August 20th to 24th at P Sara Oval here.
