Jayantha Dharmadasa has been elected as the Vice President of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) with 102 votes. Dharmadasa headed the SLC interim committee from 2005–2007 and also served as the President of the cricket board from 2013-2015.

Meanwhile, K. Mathivanan who obtained 90 votes has also been elected as Vice President.

Minister Arjuna Ranatunga only got 80 votes. Earlier today, Deputy Speaker Thilanga Sumathipala was elected as the President of SLC with 88 votes.

Meanwhile, Mmohan de Silva was appointed as the new Secretary, while Raveen Wickramaratne was appointed as the Assistant Secretary of the SLC. And Shammi Silva was elected Treasurer of SLC with 115 votes. E. Narangoda got 28 votes.
