Malinga out as capt. of team for T-20 WC?

Cricket authorities have instructed the selectors to remove Lasith Malinga as captain of the Sri Lanka team to the T-20 World Cup as he is yet to recover from a leg injury.

In his place, Anjelo Mathews will be named, who will also be in charge of the one-day and the Test sides, reports reaching Sri Lanka Mirror say.

Malinga is under fire for having played only one match, against the UAE, while joining the team as the non-playing captain, for the T-20 Asia Cup.
