Dhoni Expects Favourable Pitch For 2nd T20?

Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni says he expects a favourable pitch for the 2nd T20 international against Sri Lanka.

Skipper Dhoni took a dig at the Pune pitch prepared for the first T20 International terming it an “English” rather than Indian track.

He said, “The wicket was completely different to what we have been playing in the last one month. It was more like an English wicket. There was spongy bounce, and variable pace.

Shocked by an inexperienced Sri Lankan side on a green wicket in the first match, India would aim to regain its winning touch and keep the series alive when they take on the visitors in the second Twenty20 international in Ranchi today.

The Sri Lankan pace trio of Kasun Rajitha, Dushmantha Chameera and Dasun Shanaka made a good impression on a lively track but they will be tested in Ranchi.
